President Ersin Tatar and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel attended the opening ceremony of the Çayönü Atatürk Park and Picnic Area that was realized on Wednesday.
Speaking at the opening, Beyarmudu Mayor Bülent Bebek expressed his happiness to bring a picnic area to the people of the region and wished the park, which will enable different generations to come together and mingle, to be beneficial for everyone.
Delivering a short speech at the opening of the Çayönü Atatürk Park and Picnic Area Prime Minister Ünal Üstel stated that today is the day of workers and labourers as it is the 1st of May Labour Day and said that as the government, they have made great efforts to ensure that all the labourers get what they deserve.
Noting that they have made a great arrangement for both minimum wage workers and those who started working in the public sector since 2011, Üstel reiterated the importance they attach to workers and labourers.
President Ersin Tatar during his speech also congratulated all labourers on May Day and pointed to the value that they attach to workers.
He also emphasized that as a social state, they will always be determined to protect the working conditions of workers.
