President Ersin Tatar met with the Vice President of the International Democratic Union Mehmet Sağanak and discussed the importance of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’s (TRNC) representation in such an organization.

President Tatar expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and highlighted the positive impact of connecting with different countries and foreign representatives on the TRNC.

He also mentioned that these interactions contribute to the recognition efforts of the TRNC.

Tatar acknowledged the challenges faced by the TRNC on its road to recognition but emphasized that with the support of Türkiye, these difficulties are gradually being overcome.

Tatar thanked Türkiye for its ongoing support.
