President Ersin Tatar, on Tuesday received Prof. Dr. Hasan Havıtcıoglu who is head of the Turkish Orthopaedics Research Council and President of the Musculoskeletal Tissue Biotechnology Foundation.

Receiving Havıtçıoğlu, Tatar said that Prof. Dr. Hasan Havıtçıoğlu was a scientist who presided over the organization of international congresses on many subjects such as orthopaedics, biomechanics and tissue engineering.

Stating that Havıtçıoğlu made Turkish Cypriots proud with his work, Tatar wished him success in his studies.

The Turkish Cypriot scientist has around 24 discoveries that have contributed to the scientific world.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Hasan Havıtçıoğlu presented a plaque to President Tatar on behalf of the Musculoskeletal Biotechnology Education Foundation for his contributions to the TRNC and the Turkish nation.
