President Ersin Tatar visited the families of martyrs.

Speaking during the visit the President pointed out that the Turkish Cypriots are living in peace, tranquility and security thanks to the sacrifices made by martyrs.

“We do not forget our martyrs and we will not let them forget,” said Tatar.

President Ersin Tatar visited the families of Martyr Mehmet Salih and Martyr Ahmet Abdullah.

Speaking during the visit Tatar said that the martyrs had a great share in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), which was established by the Turkish Cypriot’s struggle for freedom and existence.

“You, as our martyrs and the relatives of martyrs, have made great sacrifices. You have been entrusted to us by our martyrs therefore you are very important and valuable. Being with you as a state is our debt of loyalty to our martyrs,” said Tatar.
