The Board of Trustees of the Turkish Aeronautical Association

is carrying out a visit in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) with the aim of promoting aviation to young people in the country.

President Ersin Tatar received the delegation at the Presidential Palace.

President Ersin Tatar received Governor Kemal Yurtnaç who is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Turkish Aeronautical Association and his accompanying delegation.

Speaking during the visit President Ersin Tatar said that there are successful pilots and co-pilots interested in aviation in the TRNC and thanked the Aeronautical Association for its cooperation and providing opportunities for the youth in the TRNC.

Governor Kemal Yurtnaç for his part stated that they are in the country to discuss what young people can do in the field of aviation and to introduce the aviation education given in Eskişehir to those interested in the TRNC.

Yurtnaç also noted that there are athletes from the TRNC working with the Turkish Air Sports Federation in the field of air sports.
