President Ersin Tatar attended the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Azerbaijan Friendship Concert performed by the Security Forces Command Band and Azerbaijan State Artists within the scope of the 26th North Cyprus International Bellapais Music Festival.

Addressing the concert that was realized at the Bellapais Monastery, President Tatar said “Türkiye, Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are three states but 1 nation”.

He thanked President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who announced that he would give full support to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to obtain full membership to the Organization of Turkic States and called for support to other Turkic States.

President Tatar stated that with the support of Türkiye, Azerbaijan and other Turkic States, the TRNC will reach its full potential.

Meanwhile, the concert was also attended by the Commander of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force and the Deputy Commander of the British Forces.

At the end of the concert, the Cyprus Turkish Freedom Fighters Anthem was also sung together.
