President Ersin Tatar left the republic on Thursday evening for official contacts in Samsun

President Ersin Tatar’s contacts in Samsun began on Friday.

Tatar, who had meetings with officials in Samsun, will attend the funeral of Cyprus Veteran Musa Sarı and offer condolences to the veteran’s family.

At noon, Tatar will meet with Cyprus veterans and deliver a speech at an event held at the Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Multipurpose Hall.

Later, President Tatar will meet with university students at Ondokuz Mayıs University, upon the invitation of the university’s Youth Community, where he will give a lecture on the Cyprus issue and the future of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

At the end of the program, President Tatar will be awarded an honorary doctorate.
