President Ersin Tatar received the Anatolian Lions Businessmen Association (ASKON).

Speaking during the visit President Ersin Tatar emphasized that it is his greatest wish for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to become further strengthened and for the Turkish Cypriot people to live in safety.

He said that the TRNC continues to develop and thrive despite the effects of the pandemic, economic crisis and earthquake disaster in recent years.

Noting that they are very proud of the investments being made in the country, President Tatar said that the TRNC, with its climate and nature is preferred as a tourism island.

Also touching upon Maraş, the President emphasized that the tourist flow to Maraş is increasing day by day.

Referring to international students who are flocking to the country to receive their higher education, President Tatar said that the TRNC has become an education island due to the students coming from abroad.

He added that students studying at universities have showed great success.

Also touching upon Türkiye and TRNC relations, President Tatar stated that Türkiye has become the most powerful country in the region and has always defended the rights and interests of the TRNC.
