President Ersin Tatar emphasized the importance of acting together for the survival of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the security of the people.
The President made the statement while receiving a delegation from the Adana Culture and Solidarity Association headed by Mehmet Akbaş.
Speaking during the visit President Tatar said that while celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation this year, as an independent Turkish state with cultural diversity and economic developments, we are all in this struggle together.
Referring to the human tragedies in the world, President Tatar said, “We need to act together for the survival of the TRNC and the security of our people. It does not matter where we come from, we are children of the same lineage. While living in unity and solidarity, traditions and customs are the richness of our country.”
Drawing attention to the proximity of Adana to the island of Cyprus, Tatar emphasized the importance of the development and deepening of relations and noted that the continuation of cooperation in different fields is important for the strengthening of the TRNC.
