President Ersin Tatar came together with a delegation from the Adıyaman Associations Federation headed by Hüseyin Sevinçtekin.

Speaking during the visit, Tatar stated that they will continue to defend the national cause and that the Turkish Cypriot people continue to stand firm despite the unfair isolation and embargoes imposed by the international community.

Underlining that a solution model in Cyprus should be based on two sovereign and equal states, the president said strengthening of the TRNC economically and socially as a Turkish state located in the Eastern Mediterranean, will further reinforce the Turkish Cypriot people’s existence on the island.

President Tatar, who also touched upon the necessity of strengthening relations with Türkiye in every field, expressed his belief that relations could be developed with all Turkic states despite the political obstacles faced.
