President Ersin Tatar received officials from the World Peace University on Monday.
President Ersin Tatar received Sofu Altınbaş, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the World Peace University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Maslakçı, Vice President of the University and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sağsan, Rector of the University.
Speaking during the visit, President Tatar said that students who come to study in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), once graduating all become honorary ambassadors when they return to their respective countries.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the World Peace University Sofu Altınbaş for his part informed the president regarding the establishment and development process of the university.
Also speaking, Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sağsan said that they had established the university with the goal of becoming a 5th generation institution of higher education and that their goals included a smart campus, where they will operate and promote and develop the country’s social and cultural heritage at a global-local level.
