President Ersin Tatar has embarked on his contacts in London.
As part of his contacts, Tatar met with British journalists on Tuesday during which he briefed them on the Turkish Cypriot side’s two-state policy and views on the Cyprus issue.
The meeting which took place at London’s East India Club was also attended by former leader of the Conservative Party, former minister and current MP Iain Duncan Smith.
Those attending the event organised under the “Freedom and Fairness for Northern Cyprus Campaign” was attended by the Political Editor of the Sunday Express David Williamson, Director of the Henry Jackson Society Dr Alan Mendoza, GB News programmer and Daily Telegraph editor Camilla Tominey, Editorial Advisor for the Daily Mail Andrew Pierce, the Political Editor and Parliamentary Correspondent for the Sun newspaper Harry Cole, Daily Mail columnist Amanda Platell and CapX web editor John Ashmore.
Tatar is also expected to meet with Turkish Cypriots residing in the UK as part of his contacts in the British capital.
