President Ersin Tatar expressed his satisfaction with the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA) General Assembly’s adoption of the resolution titled “50th Anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation,” signed by Turkish Parliamentary Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş.

In his statement, President Tatar said, “The resolution adopted in the TGNA, which supports our two-state solution policy, has empowered us.”

President Ersin Tatar emphasized the significance of the resolution, stating, “The resolution, adopted under the leadership of the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş, supporting our two-state solution policy on the Cyprus issue, holds great importance for us. This resolution has provided immense strength and support to our cause on the 50th anniversary of the Peace Operation.”

“The Turkish Grand National Assembly has once again declared to the world that it stands with the Turkish Cypriots and their state, as it did in the past,” President Tatar added. “On behalf of myself and the Turkish Cypriot people, I extend my deepest gratitude and respect to the Turkish Grand National Assembly and all parties for unanimously adopting this decision.”
