Prime Minister Ünal Üstel received the Global Disability Foundation

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel vowed to eliminate all bureaucratic obstacles being carried out in efforts to develop the country’s health tourism.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel on Thursday received the Founding President of the Global Disability Foundation Necdet Öztürk and President of the Cyprus Turkish Orthopedically Disabled Association Dr. Günay Kibrit and their accompanying delegation.

During the visit, Prime Minister Üstel was informed about the Universal Standards Guide prepared by the Global Disability Foundation.

Speaking during the visit Prime Minister Ünal Üstel emphasized that as the government, they attach great importance to individuals with disabilities and said, “As the government, it is one of our primary goals to pave the way for our disabled brothers and sisters on every platform.”

Pointing out that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) hosts disabled people from around the world with its existing tourism potential, Üstel said, “We aim to realize joint projects in cooperation with the Global Disability Foundation in order to increase our tourism potential in this field.”

“We aim to ensure that our brothers and sisters with disabilities visiting from abroad can also benefit from the health services of our country. One by one, we are reaping the fruits of our initiatives for the TRNC to be embraced by the world.”

“While embracing the world with our new Cyprus policy, the contributions of our disabled brothers and sisters will be very valuable” said Üstel.
