Prime Minister Ünal Üstel completed his one-day visit to Ankara and returned to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Evaluating his working visit, Üstel pointed out that the government continues its work while also bearing the responsibility of governance.
“The commencement of the National Unity Party’s (UBP) congress process does not change the fact that life continues. We carry the responsibility of governing on our shoulders and have many ongoing projects. Numerous efforts are continuing in line with the Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement we signed with our motherland Türkiye. To review the current stage of these issues, I took a break from the congress activities today and carried out a working visit to Ankara” Üstel said.
Noting that they had very productive and sincere discussions in Ankara, the Prime Minister stated that they addressed the current issues with both Tuırkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
“We continue to work for our people and our country. I am pleased to announce that in the very near future, we will take new steps that have not been taken for years and implement new projects. When it comes to serving the people, we cannot say we are working for the congress. Our priority is the people. It is to serve the people. The congress process is ongoing. We continue on the path with stability and in power” Üstel added.
