Tensions rose at Derinya on the anniversary of the deaths of Cypriot Greek Cypriots Tasos Isaak and Solomos Solomou, who lost their lives there in 1996.
The actions carried out in South Cyprus as part of the commemoration event for Tasos Isaak and Solomos Solomou took place at the Derinya Crossing Point.
According to information obtained by our BRT correspondent, there were no issues with crossings at the border gate on Sunday, and entries and exits were made.
However, no images were allowed to be taken of the Derinya Crossing Point or the protest.
