The Highways Department has announced that due to asphalt work to be carried on the Dikmen-Boğazköy road, it will be closed until Friday, July 5.

The Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality also announced that the road leading from the Metehan roundabout to Ortaköy will be closed to traffic as of tomorrow.

In a statement made by the Directorate of Highways Department, it was stated that the road between Dikmen-Boğazköy will be closed to traffic until Friday, July 5 due to asphalt works and traffic will be diverted to alternative road routes during that time.

The road between the Lefkoşa Metehan roundabout and Ortaköy area will be closed from 07.00 on Wednesday, July 3 until July 25 as part of the road and infrastructure development works of the Presidential and Parliament complex.

According to the announcement made by the Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality, during this period, drivers will not be able to use the road from the Kemal Şemiler Street and Metehan Border Gate that leads towards the Ortaköy area.
