The National Unity Party (UBP) Group Deputy Chairman and MP Ahmet Savaşan is in Azerbaijan for talks.

Savaşan, who went to Baku to attend the Meeting of the Heads of Health Commissions of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States, met with Tahir Budakov, Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party.

During their meeting, Savaşan expressed his satisfaction with the results of the “3 States One Nation” agreement signed between Türkiye, Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on November 14, 2023.

He noted that this agreement has strengthened relations and led to fruitful cooperation.

Savaşan also mentioned that the project is growing stronger each day and expressed his excitement about an upcoming joint workshop and camp in Northern Cyprus, organized by Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, Türkiye’s Justice and Development Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala, and Tahir Budakov.

Savaşan requested support to continue this project with women.

Tahir Budakov for his part expressed his satisfaction with the TRNC gaining observer member status in the Organization of Turkic States.

He emphasized that his party will continue to work towards making the TRNC more visible in the international arena.
