Türkiye’s Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu emphasized that Bayrak Radio, which was founded by a handful of mujahids in order to announce the Turkish Cypriot voice to the world, continues the same mission as an institution today.

Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu issued a message to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRT).

In his message the Ambassador stated that the stage that Bayrak Radio has reached from those times to today is admirable.

Ambassador Feyzioğlu pointed out that BRT, one of the important building blocks of the Turkish Cypriot national struggle, played a leading role in announcing the rightful voice of the Turkish Cypriots to the world.

Stating that they will continue to support the further development of the Bayrak Radio Television Corporation, which keeps pace with the developing technology, Ambassador Feyzioğlu congratulated the 60th anniversary of the devoted BRT employees and wished many more returns.
