Special Rep Ergün Olgun meets with Kariuki and DiCarlo

President Ersin Tatar’s Special Representative Ergün Olgun who was is in New York as part of the 78th UN General Assembly held a variety of contacts regarding Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) in Cyprus.

As part of his contacts President Ersin Tatar’s Special Representative Ergün Olgun met on Friday last week with the Managing Director for the EU Commission’s External Action Service Angelina Eichorst and Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom deputy Ambassador James Kariuki.

On Saturday, he came together with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo.

According to the statement made by the Office of the President, the Coordinator for the Bilateral Technical Committees Güneş Onar also took part in the talks which focused on Confidence Building Measures (CBMs).
