Turkish News Agency Cyprus-TAK Board of Directors continues its visits within the scope of the 51st anniversary of the establishment of the agency.
Within this framework, the members of the Board of Directors were received yesterday by Türkiye’s Ambassador to Lefkoşa Yasin Ekrem Serim and Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu separately.
The Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Yasin Ekrem Serim received the TAK Board of Directors and praised the importance of TAK and its partner media organization, BRT, in the rapidly developing media landscape.
He expressed the commitment to further contribute to the growth of both institutions.
Serim emphasized the significance of TAK, stating that it will rise to an even higher level in the future.
He acknowledged the progress made by TAK but emphasized the need for further improvements.
Serim also mentioned the cooperation between TAK and the Anadolu Agency in Türkiye, assuring continued support.
Additionally, TAK Director Fehmi Gürdallı highlighted the support received from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, including building repairs and equipment.
Meanwhile during the visit paid to him Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu congratulated TAK on its 51st anniversary of establishment and acknowledged its vital role in representing the Turkish Cypriot people internationally and countering disinformation campaigns.
