Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke with President Ersin Tatar on the phone and wished peace and well-being to the Turkish Cypriot people.

President Tatar also congratulated the Turkish nation on the New Year and wished that the New Year would bring peace, happiness and prosperity to the Turkic world.

President Ersin Tatar, in turn, congratulated the Turkish nation on the New Year and wished that the 2024 would bring peace, happiness and prosperity to the Turkic world.

Commemorating the Turkish soldiers who were martyred in the last days of the year during the fight against terrorism, Tatar expressed the hope that similar events will not be experienced in 2024.

President Tatar also emphasized that he believes that Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will experience a much stronger and more successful period in Türkiye’s century.
