Tatar attends youth gathering organised by Presidential Youth Committee

President Ersin Tatar participated in the “Youth Gathering” event organized by the Presidency Youth and Culture Committee. The event, attended by the Minister of National Education and Culture, Nazım Çavuşoğlu, included students who graduated from high school this year and teachers.

During the event, President Tatar stated in his speech that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is becoming a more developed and modern state day by day with the support of Türkiye.

He pointed out that thousands of teachers are working in both public and private schools, highlighting the contribution of internet-based education in the age of communication.

Emphasizing the importance of socializing alongside academic studies, President Tatar encouraged the youth to develop themselves in the areas of culture, communication, dialogue, and sincerity.

He mentioned that young people preparing to attend university will take on roles in universities, public institutions, the private sector, and various other fields after graduation.

“An opportunity-filled future awaits you. Our hope is for you to elevate the state. We have full confidence in you. I wish you all success, and may your path be clear,” he added.

The Minister of National Education and Culture, Nazım Çavuşoğlu, who also spoke at the event said that the government was working on projects for the better upbringing and improved social lives of students.

He emphasized the importance of balanced social, cultural, and sporting development alongside academic progress.

“You are the ones who will carry the state forward and elevate it. I congratulate the teachers and families who have raised you, and I wish for your future to be bright,” Çavuşoğlu said.
