President Ersin Tatar telephoned his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev and wished him a happy birthday.

According to information given by the Presidency, the relations between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Azerbaijan were discussed during the meeting, and the activities carried out with the Turkic World were also taken up.

The meeting also focused on the situation of Azerbaijani citizens, students and business people living in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the development of social and cultural issues.
