President Ersin Tatar congratulated Ziya Öztürkler on his election as Speaker of the Parliament, wishing him success in his new role.

Tatar expressed his full confidence that the Parliament would work in unity and solidarity, serving the interests of the people, the country, and the national cause.

In his congratulatory message, President Ersin Tatar reiterated his belief that under Ziya Öztürkler’s leadership, the Parliament would act in harmony for the benefit of the nation.

According to a statement from the Parliamentary Speaker’s office, Tatar said in his message, “I warmly congratulate you on your election as Speaker of the Parliament of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which is the foundation and monument of the Turkish Cypriot people’s struggle for freedom, independence, and unshakable will and sovereignty.”
