President Ersin Tatar flew to London on Thursday to take part in Republic Day celebrations taking place in the British capital.

Tonight, President Tatar will attend the reception commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus at the TRNC’s Representation office in London.

The reception will take place at the Hyatt Regency Churchill Hotel.

In addition to attending a reception to be hosted this evening by the TRNC’s Representation Office, Tatar is also set to attend the 40th-anniversary ball organized by the Council of Turkish Cypriot Associations in London.

While in London, President Tatar will hold meetings and engage in various discussions at the UK Parliament.

In a statement to the Cyprus Turkish News Agency (TAK) regarding his visit to London, President Ersin Tatar expressed the importance of always being with TRNC citizens residing in the UK.

He mentioned that he would visit London to participate in the 40th anniversary celebrations of the TRNC and share the Republic Day enthusiasm with the citizens.
