President Ersin Tatar issued a commemorative message on the 6th anniversary of the passing of former Prime Minister İrsen Küçük.
Tatar stated that Küçük was “a statesman who made significant contributions to the Turkish Cypriot people.”
“On the 6th anniversary of the passing of İrsen Küçük, one of the prominent statesmen of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, we remember him with deep respect and longing” Tatar said in his message.
“İrsen Küçük will always be remembered as a leader devoted to his country with love and a strong sense of service. As a Member of Parliament, Minister, and Prime Minister, he made great contributions to the Turkish Cypriot people. We will always remember his closeness to people and his humble personality” he added.
“As we honour İrsen Küçük with respect and mercy, I once again extend my condolences to his family and loved ones. May his soul rest in peace, and may his place be in heaven” President Tatar concluded.
