President Ersin Tatar on Tuesday received Angelina Eichorst, Director-General of the European Union External Action Service, for a meeting to discuss bilateral relations with the EU and the latest developments concerning Cyprus.

Tuesday’s meeting at the presidential palace was also attended by the President’s Special Representative Güneş Onar.

During the discussions, the parties evaluated the current state of affairs in Cyprus and explored ways to enhance cooperation between the EU and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Tatar emphasized the importance of maintaining a constructive dialogue with the EU and reiterated the TRNC’s commitment to finding a fair and lasting solution to the Cyprus issue.

The meeting underscored the significance of continued engagement and collaboration on matters of mutual interest.
