President Ersin Tatar attended the Mevlana Commemoration event organized to commemorate the Turkish-Islamic thinker and Sufi Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi.

The event organized by the Gazimağusa Ravelin Lions Club with the presentation and project management of Ney Cyprus General Art Director Ahmet Alper Ayana.

Tatar watched the 751st anniversary of Mevlana’s vuslat (union/reunion) at Bellapais Monastery, where artists from Türkiye and North Cyprus performed classical Turkish music, hymns, sayings, poetry and whirling dervishes performed.
