President Ersin Tatar on Tuesday received the Turkish Mayor of Etimesgut Enver Demirel and his accompanying delegation.

“Our state and our nation is the greatest treasure we will be leaving to future generations” Tatar said

Expressing his happiness over the visit by the Turkish Mayor of Etimesgut Enver Demirel and his accompanying delegation, President Ersin Tatar stated that the Century of Türkiye will also be a revolution for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Emphasizing that an enormous success had been achieved with the water brought over from Türkiye, he reminded that the new goal was now bringing electricity from Türkiye to the TRNC via cable.

Noting that the TRNC had possessed a large potential in terms of tourism, he added that efforts to further develop the country’s tourism sector will continue with the support of Türkiye.

“We are here to leave a legacy for future generations. Our state and Republic is the greatest legacy we can leave behind”, Tatar said thanking the Turkish Mayor of Etimesgut Enver Demirel and his accompanying delegation for their support.
