President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Ersin Tatar, held a meeting with Mustafa Levent Sungur, Chairman of Türkiye’s Housing Development Administration (TOKİ), and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, President Tatar emphasized the significance of TOKİ as a key institution and expressed his satisfaction with the visit.
Speaking during the visit, President Tatar shared his observations from his visits to earthquake-affected regions, noting the presence of resilient buildings, many of which were constructed by TOKİ.
He commended TOKİ for being an institution that consistently delivers high-quality work through its infrastructure and team, and for being a leader in structural transformation.
Highlighting the importance of TOKİ’s contributions to Türkiye, President Tatar stressed the significance of the institution’s services to the people of the TRNC.
He underscored the value of TOKİ’s involvement in the development and urban planning of the TRNC, describing it as a key asset to the region.
In his remarks, President Tatar extended his best wishes to the TOKİ President and his team, noting that their efforts would further strengthen the Turkish Cypriot community. He also praised the institution’s work as highly valuable for the TRNC.
