President Ersin Tatar on Monday received officials from MÜSİAD’S Netherlands Branch (Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association).

Speaking during the visit, Tatar stated that since the establishment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), there have been openings in many areas especially developments in the fields of education, tourism and agriculture.

According to the statement issued by his office, President Tatar referred to the isolations imposed on the Turkish Cypriot people, describing them as a violation of human rights and an outdated practice that needed to be abandoned.

Tatar emphasized that the way to overcome this is to continue to work in cooperation and dialogue with international institutions and organizations such as MÜSİAD.

Stating that the TRNC is a state with its maritime jurisdictions, territorial waters and continental shelf, Tatar stated that it is everyone’s wish to protect and strengthen the rights both in the Blue Homeland and in the airspace.

He stated that with the achievement of this, welfare will increase in the country and added that the Turkish Cypriot people will continue their existence despite all obstacles.
