The delegation from the Turkish Confederation of Industry and Commerce (SANKON) is continuing its contacts in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Yesterday, the delegation was received by President Ersin Tatar.

President Tatar welcomed Ferudun Cevahiroğlu, the President of SANKON, and his delegation.

Cevahiroğlu stated that their visit aimed to enhance economic and commercial relations with the TRNC.

He expressed hope that the TRNC would eventually secure its place as a fully independent state in global organizations.

President Tatar emphasized the significance of the TRNC as an independent Turkish state in the Eastern Mediterranean, describing it as the southernmost window for all Turkish states. He noted that he had highlighted this during the summit in Azerbaijan.

Tatar underlined the importance of continuing the struggle with the support of the Republic of Türkiye and the Turkish world.

He stressed the necessity of strengthening the infrastructure in the TRNC and highlighted the importance of sharing national and spiritual values with the youth.

Tatar also emphasized the significance of activities aimed at increasing ties between the two countries in the digital age.

He reiterated the importance of continuing to share the realities of Cyprus with the world.
