President Ersin Tatar received students from the Department of Political Science and International Relations of Istanbul’s Bahçeşehir University on Wednesday.

The group is on a study trip to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Receiving the group, President Tatar extended his best wishes to the students of Bahçeşehir University, highlighting the importance of seizing the opportunities of the era and the lifelong importance of education.

President Tatar emphasized the significance of the TRNC as a sovereign Turkish state in the Eastern Mediterranean, pointing out its airspace and the importance for Türkiye’s security in the Blue Homeland.

He also underscored the importance of Türkiye’s guarantorship for the Turkish Cypriot people, pointing out that it was out of the question for the system to be scrapped.

Expressing his satisfaction with receiving the students, President Tatar expressed belief in the future political influence of Bahçeşehir University students, acknowledging the pleasure of hosting them.
