President Ersin Tatar on Friday received the President of the Economic and Social Research Foundation of Türkiye and Turkic World Economic (TİSAV), Aybüke Yalçın, and her accompanying delegation on Thursday.

According to the information provided by the Office of the President, President Ersin Tatar stated that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), which was the southernmost Turkish state in the Eastern Mediterranean, was established at great cost and continues on its path despite the outdated isolations imposed by the Greek-Greek Cypriot duo.

Expressing that in the new Turkish century, Türkiye’s influence was being increasingly felt, Tatar highlighted that thanks to the initiatives of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the TRNC has become an observer member of the Turkic Council.

Referring to the views of TİSAV on the Turkic world and the importance of their scientific publications, the President expressed his hope for future collaborations and wished them success in their endeavours.

TİSAV President Aybüke Yalçın for her part said that the foundation was established with the aim of conducting economic and social research in Türkiye and the Turkic world.
