President Ersin Tatar emphasized that the reality of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will continue to be communicated to the whole world.

Speaking during his reception of the delegation from the Association for the Promotion and Preservation of the TRNC, President Tatar said that there is now an acknowledged separate authority and sovereignty on the island.

He also said that it is the duty of everyone to promote the TRNC state with its institutions and organizations.

Tatar mentioned that efforts to promote and introduce their state to the world in areas such as tourism, economy, higher education and trade, based on the inherent rights of Turkish Cypriots, are ongoing intensively.

He also stated that they continue to work to increase prosperity, improve infrastructure through investments and strengthen the economy, while emphasizing that peace has continued on the island since 1974.

“We will continue to convey the reality of the TRNC to the whole world,” President Tatar noted, adding that the world was now aware that there was a separate sovereign authority on the island.

Tatar also highlighted the importance of the activities carried out by the Association for the Promotion and Preservation of the TRNC in this regard and wished the association success in its efforts.
