President Ersin Tatar received a delegation from the Turkish Enterprise and Business Confederation (TÜRKONFED) on Thursday.

The president was briefed on the confederation during the meeting.

Speaking during the meeting, President Tatar expressed his sorrow over the ongoing humanitarian tragedy in Gaza.

He said that the Turkish Cypriots had experienced similar events before 1974 and emphasized that the importance of peace and tranquillity is well understood by the Turkish Cypriot people.

Highlighting the vital importance of Türkiye’s guarantees and the presence of Turkish troops for the Turkish Cypriot people, President Tatar mentioned that the successes of the Turkish Century would have positive impacts on the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Tatar also stressed the significance of the dynamic business world for the well-being, national, and economic progress of the Turkish Cypriot people.

He emphasized the importance of the TRNC benefiting from developments in various fields within the dynamic business world and the establishment of new sectors that would bring hope to the future of the youth.
