The UN Under-Secretary-General Rosemary DiCarlo who is in Cyprus as part of the UN’s efforts to seek common ground for the restart of negotiations in Cyprus was received by President Ersin Tatar on Wednesday.

DiCarlo was accompanied by the UN Special Representative in Cyprus and UNFICYP chief Colin Stewart.

Also present at the meeting was the President’s Special Representative Ergün Olgun and other political advisors.

Earlier on Wednesday, President Ersin Tatar also received the EU Commission’s Directorate-General of the DG for Structural Reform Support Mario Nava.

No statement was issued before or after the meeting which took place at the presidential palace.
