President Ersin Tatar spoke with Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, the President of the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK) on Sunday over the phone.

Özvar congratulated Tatar on the appointment of Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın as the President of the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council

He said that that YÖK was ready to provide the needed support to the TRNC and mentioned that a YÖK delegation would arrive in the TRNC on Monday to discuss outstanding issues as well as seek ways of collaborating.
