President Ersin Tatar visited the Committee on Missing Persons DNA Laboratory on Thursday where he came together with the Turkish Cypriot member of the Committee for Missing Persons in Cyprus Hakkı Müftüzade and the DNA lab’s supervisor Associate Prof. Dr. Cemal Gürkan.
The President received information on the work carried out by the DNA Laboratory experts of the Committee on Missing Persons. Tatar thanked the lab’s forensic experts for the successful work they carried out in cooperation with their counterparts in Türkiye in identifying the bodies of those who were killed by the earthquakes in Türkiye.
Presidential Health Advisor Prof. Dr. Nedime Serakıncı accompanied President Tatar during the visit.
