Tatar visits TC businessman Işık Vedat in London

As part of his London visit, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Ersin Tatar met with Turkish Cypriot businessman Işık Vedat, a member of the Council of Turkish Cypriot Associations, and his family at their business premises in Leyton.

During the visit, President Tatar emphasized the unity of Turkish Cypriots living abroad, stating that despite being scattered worldwide, they remain united by their love for the TRNC.

He highlighted that the success of Turkish Cypriots worldwide is a key factor in strengthening the TRNC.

“The state belongs to all of us,” Tatar said, adding, “No matter where in the world they are, the success of Turkish Cypriots is essential for the advancement of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.”

Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, President Tatar congratulated Işık Vedat for his achievements abroad and praised his contributions to the Turkish Cypriot community.

He pointed out that the efforts and investments of Turkish Cypriots living overseas contribute significantly to the recognition and development of the TRNC.

Tatar underlined the importance of such collaborations in promoting the TRNC on the international stage.

Addressing all Turkish Cypriots abroad, President Tatar said, “Your successes are our successes, and they amplify the voice of the TRNC. We all continue our struggle with the same spirit, preserving our identity, values, and existence.”

Işık Vedat, expressing his gratitude for the president’s visit, provided insight into his work and reaffirmed his commitment to upholding national values in his business activities.
