TEKNOFEST Tourism Technologies Competition applications will end on January 15.

The competition aims to contribute to the sustainable development of the country in the field of culture and tourism by bringing cultural heritage and tourism potential together with smart information technologies.

TEKNOFEST Technology Competitions, the aviation, space and technology festival, brings together participants who are passionate about technology and innovation in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in 2025.

The “Tourism Technologies Competition,” organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, invites all high school and university students and graduates from Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and abroad, to share their innovative ideas.

The competition aims to contribute to the sustainable development of the country in the field of culture and tourism by bringing cultural heritage and tourism potential together with smart information technologies.

The competition offers participants the opportunity to design projects that will make Türiye’s and the TRNC’s cultural heritage more accessible, while also aiming to reveal innovative ideas that will accelerate digital transformation in the tourism sector.

Aiming to carry the cultural richness and tourism potential of Türkiye and TRNC further, this competition supports projects that aim to add value to the culture and tourism sector both locally and internationally with technology-oriented creative projects.

In the competition, which will be organized in two main categories, 70 thousand TL will be given as the first prize, 60 thousand TL for the second prize and 50 thousand TL for the third prize at the high school level.

At the university level and above, the first winners will receive 80 thousand TL, the second winners 70 thousand TL, and the third winners 60 thousand TL.
