The Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Şentop also condemned the attempts by protestors who tried to ban the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’s President Ersin Tatar from participating in a conference in London.

Şentop said, “I condemn the attack on President Ersin Tatar in London and convey my best wishes to him.”

The Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Şentop condemned attempts to prevent President Ersin Tatar from entering the conference on Cyprus at the King’s College in England.

Via social media, Şentop wrote “I condemn the attack on TRNC President Ersin Tatar in London and convey my best wishes to him. These and similar provocative actions will never prevent the Turkish Cypriot people from fighting for their rightful cause. In our national cause, we will continue to be in solidarity with the Turkish Cypriots with determination.”
