The 61st Mehmetçik Grape Festival will begin tonight.
The 10 day festival, which will end on Sunday, August 13th will host cultural, artistic and sports events.
The 61st Mehmetçik Grape Festival which is being organised by the Mehmetçik Büyükkonuk Municipality will begin with a cortege and the opening of the festival will be realized at 8.30 pm at the Mehmetçik festival grounds.
In addition to famous Turkish singer Ferhat Göçer, local artists Ahmet Evan, Grup SOS, Grup Frekans, Grup Rota, İpek Amber and Grup Otantik will also take to the stage at the festival.
The ten day festival will consist of concerts, folk dance performances, a children’s festival, modern dance shows, a backgammon tournament, a volleyball tournament, a wrestling tournament, a master football tournament, bingo draws and a vineyard-to-table flavour competition.
