The legal proceedings concerning the collapse of the İsias Hotel, which became a grave for the “Champion Angels” during the earthquake disaster in Türkiye on February 6, 2023, are ongoing.
The fourth hearing in this case is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, at the Adıyaman 3rd High Criminal Court.
Tuesday’s hearing will see participation from the families of the deceased “Champion Angels” and the injured survivors, alongside a delegation of around 100 individuals, including Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, various ministers, political figures, members of the Bar Association, and journalists.
The group is set to travel to Adıyaman through Gaziantep today.
Meanwhile, the Champion Angels Association is continuing its campaign titled “Three Minutes of Darkness for Justice” until the hearing.
As part of this initiative, many institutions, organizations, and members of the public turn off their lights every night between 8-8:30 PM to show their support for justice.
The tragedy at the Grand İsias Hotel in Adıyaman occurred during the earthquakes that struck on February 6, 2023, with magnitudes of 7.7 and 7.6, centred in Kahramanmaraş and affecting 11 provinces.
