Three new cases in TRNC, 228 in South Cyprus

Health Minister Ali Pilli announced three new COVID-19 cases in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on Tuesday, following 1,220 diagnostic tests carried out.

Pilli said that one of the individuals who tested positive arrived into the country via air, one via ferry and one of the cases was through local transmission.

Five people have recovered and have been discharged from hospital.

Meanwhile, South Cyprus reported 228 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours after conducting 8,887 tests.
