The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre issued a written statement condemning Israel’s actions against the Palestinian people.

In the statement Töre wrote that the massacres committed by Israel in Gaza continues to increase day by day and that they observe this with much regret.

Emphasizing that the attack on the camp of displaced Palestinians in the city of Rafah, despite the decision of the International Court of Justice, reveals the latest situation of brutality, Töre noted that the Palestinian people continue their heroic resistance against Israel.

He also drew attention to the fact that seeing that this resistance could not be broken, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netenyahu and those who support him such as the United States and some other countries, continue genocide in Gaza.

“The whole world should know that the countries that support them are as guilty as the Israeli Administration in the continuation of this murder and are complicit with Israel. Our hope and wish is that those who ignore the atrocities and support the war will react as soon as possible. As the Turkish Cypriot people, our prayers are with the Palestinian people,” wrote Töre in his statement.
