The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre issued a message of condolence for the soldiers who were martyred in the conflict with the terrorist organization PKK in the province of Şırnak in Türkiye.

Expressing his sadness Töre said, “It is with great sadness that I learned of the news that three of our heroic soldiers were martyred in the conflict with the terrorist organization PKK in the Bestler Dereler region of Şırnak, in our motherland, Türkiye.”

“In the face of these attempts aimed at the indivisible unity of the Great Turkish Nation, it should be known that we are one and together as we were yesterday. Our Türkiye will always continue its fight against terrorism with great determination and the Turkish Cypriot People is united with their motherland in this fight” he stressed.

“No power will be able to divide the unity and solidarity of the Turkish Nation. May God have mercy on our heroic martyrs. I offer my condolences to their bereaved families and the Turkish Nation” Töre added.
