Acting President Zorlu Töre received the President of the Turkish Internet Media Association Dr. Süleyman Basa and his delegation.

Making a brief statement while receiving the head of the Turkish Internet Media Association Dr. Süleyman Basa, the Acting President Töre stated that the media has reached a very important position today and that broadcasts can be made to all four corners of the world through internet journalism.

Stating that people follow news on the internet, Töre noted that this is an advantage for the Turkish Internet Media Association with its widespread formal structure.

The head of the Turkish Internet Media Union Dr. Süleyman Basa for his part stated that they celebrated the first year of the establishment of their association and that they wanted to visit Cyprus, which they consider a national cause, and inform everyone about their work.

Stating that they have members in 25 countries and 81 provinces of Türkiye, Basa also said that they are fighting against disinformation about Turks.
