Acting President and Speaker of Parliament Zorlu Töre received separately the leader of the New Welfare Party of Türkiye Fatih Erbakan and Felicity Party’s Antalya Deputy Şerafettin Kılıç and their accompanying delegations.

Speaking during the visit, the leader of the New Welfare Party Erbakan noted that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is an indispensable national cause for both him and his party.

Acting President and Speaker of Parliament Zorlu Töre for his part emphasized that the Cyprus cause cannot be carried out without Türkiye.

He added that the TRNC is also protecting Motherland Türkiye.

Later on in the day, Töre received the Felicity Party’s Antalya Deputy Şerafettin Kılıç and his accompanying delegation.

Speaking during the visit the acting president stated that they were aware that the Cyprus issue is seen as a non-partisan issue in Türkiye.
